I’ve always had a passion for words and how they can make people feel. This trait is what led me to pursue a career in public relations. However, it was through personal experience that I discovered my niche within the field.

After experiencing a health scare at the age of 15, I realized first-hand how convoluted our healthcare system is. All too often, patients suffer as a result of this disconnect. My first internship back in the summer of 2022 formally introduced me to the world of health communications.

Since then, I’ve explored the public relations field in a variety of roles, both within the health niche and in generalist positions. I am eager to graduate from UNC-Chapel Hill in May with a degree in Advertising and Public Relations, a certificate in Health Communication and Marketing, and a minor in Health and Society.
